'Bitbucket - Differences showing up for merge commits
We are in Bitbucket v7.6.10. Of late (not sure if it is due to a recent update) we have started seeing code changes while doing PR review for merge commits as well, even if the code is there in destination branch.
Example:
There is branch A and branch B, and development branch. We have code changes (commit 1) as part of branch A - which got merged to development with a PR. Now, as we have dependent code, so we merge branch A to branch B (merge commit 2) and make further changes (commit 3), and raise a PR to development. In this new PR, we should ideally see only changes from branch B w.r.t. commit 3 - but recently we start seeing code in the differences view from branch A as well from the merge commit 2.
Can you comment if this is a recent change? and can be updated via some settings?
