Automation on Contao

Question

I am working in a project where we manage a webpage using contao. I am very new to contao, and I have set the objective to implement an automatic way to update the "News" section of our page.

For example, when there is a new email describing upcoming events, a script would take this information and add a new article about this into the page. Is there any way to make this possible?

I was thinking maybe there is a way to login via a terminal to make edits to the page, so that a script would do all the job. I am not the owner of the database. I only have editing privileges.
